It's here list family, April is PD Awareness Month!! Many of you have posted to list your action to get publicity for PD this month. Some have sent Barb Patterson's release about Bishop Tutu's prayer to local media, others have set up displays about PD with literature, you are distributing PeNNIEES FOR PARKINSON jars/containers. I'm so proud that we as pwp are being actively involved in letting everyone else know that witha little help(prayer, pennies, knowledge) the cure for Parkinson's is not just a dream but a close reality. Wanted to let you know that the mayor of Trenton, MO has signed a proclamation declaring April as Parkinson's Disease Awareness Month, noted in the local paper with a photo of mayor with me and a group of my sorority sisters. As soon as I receive labels and pamphlets from Bill Turenne, I hope to distribute locally and will take some to St. Joseph, MO on April 16 to give out from the PD Support Group Table at a Health Fair that day at the Sr. Ctr.
