Bob-- You love your work; don't let a few stupid people run you off! If, as you say, the stress is truly unbearable, that's different; you have to protect yourself, but have you asked the kids what they think? They may be a darn sight more intelligent than their parents. I can't get over the gall of some people--bless you for your forbearance; I think I would have busted her in the chops.
