held in Western, New York area - a first for our area, I think.

BTW, the Western New York Parkinson's community is starting to come
together. Since last year,  3 new support groups have been formed. In
addition to our Young Onset Group, which meets on Saturday afternoons,
every other month (you can contact me by e-mail for information), there
is also:

A general PD support group meeting on a Friday afternoon each month, in
Williamsville - contact person is June van Remen, Dent Neurologic
Institute 689-1622 ext. 236.

A Parkinson's Wellness Group, meeting the third Wed. of each month. 6:30
-8:00 PM. in the McKinley Mall Community Room. Contact Pat Weigel at
859-7565 for more information. Meetings are scheduled for April 21, May
19 and June 16.
