IceCream

When I was told I had PD
I sat myself down and cried.
But when I was told what I could not eat
I very nearly died.
No bananas, something about the chemistry.
No more then one ounce of meat, it blocks the meds.
No caffeine, it appears to make the symptoms worse.
No pinto beans, because of the protein.
Nothing containing poppy seeds, found out the hard way.
No cheese of any kind, it blocks the meds worse than meat.
Avoid gravy made with milk, this is very annoying.
And the substitutes offered I am not enjoying.
But the worst of them all, no icecream!.
No sundaes, no splits, no shakes, no floats,
not even when they come from goats.
No pie alamode, no fudge ripple,
I drop off in an hour, it's that simple.
No butterpecan, no rockyroad,
not even when served on a toad.
No peaches 'n cream, or Cherries Garcia,
how depressing this is, have you any idea?
And please, no suggestions about stuff made from ice.
I've sampled the product and found it not nice.
Now that I've got this gripe off my spleen,
me and icecream must have distance between.

Marvin Giles.
