Ed: Two experiences my husband has had in the past l2 yr - l. Started on
cogentin
for tremor (only med. for two years) and tried to reduce when began Sinimet
but he
still takes 2X.5mg/day - when he tries to not take any his tremors increase-
other-
wise no problem with tremors. 2. He's always taken meds spread evenly over
a
24 hr. period. Takes middle of night dose when gets up for bathroom anyway -
about 2 A.M. give or take 1 hr. The interruption is well worth the benefits
and he has had very few episodes of disturbing cramps or rigidity. He tried
to take a daily
schedule ( as recommended by the Dr.) three times, always with poor results -
so
we stay with the tried and true method.
Just a couple things to consider - hope things go better
