dear billie there is an inexpensive way to keep food warm that i used over the years for one reason or another. get a baby's warming dish that is ceremic and holds hot water in the base.i have found them in thrift shops. baby sections insome variety or drug stores often carry the plastic ones but they dont hold the heat as well as the older ones.what i do is pour very hot water into bottom section and covered it with a pie tin while food is being prepared.when food is ready pour out the water and refill with more hot water then you put hot food into divided sections and replace pie tih or lid over food until you get to the table. i have found this to work very well hope this might help you.at least the food doesn't dry out from reheating. a recentsubscriber care giver ----- Original Message ----- connie tate From: Billie Cook <[log in to unmask]> To: <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Tuesday, May 04, 1999 7:21 PM Subject: slow eater/cold food > I'm a very slow eater and food gets cold before I can eat it .
