Barbara Mallut asks:

>Soooo..... let's hear it. How has PD-related vision
> problems affected your ability to drive, if at all?

It has not, so far, except for driving at night, which I never liked,
way before I was dx'ed. It has always been confusing to me and that made me
avoid it, if at all possible.
A vision related problem, that makes me avoid it now, is
developing cataracts. They are still not bad, but they make me avoid night
driving if for no other reason.

I still drive in the daytime, if:
- I feel good enough.
- It is a moderate distance and time.
- I can be alone. Ever since there was evidence that my reaction speed was
getting a bit deficient, I cannot find anybody to ride with me. So, If I
have company, they do the driving.
