My husband was having spasms a couple of times a day that started at his jaw and went up one side of his face increasing in severity. Each one only lasted a minute or so -- the dentist sent us to the doctor and he sent us back to the dentist. He was going to have a root canal although he didn't think that's what it was. Now he's having problems with his eye (the third nerve is affected) and his eye is mostly closed and he has double vision. They say the eye problem is not from PD. Also started with a lot of confusion and the PD worsened all in the last couple of weeks. Did the pain in the jaw start this way?
