jennifer - looking back, my first symptoms were when i was in a dressing room i had problems standing on one leg trying on slacks. i would tip over. i dismissed it as being strange. then i had trouble getting off a chaise lounge and dismissed that. when i got to trouble whisking eggs, slightly leaky and retentive bladder, husky week voice and small handwriting i started to investigate and it took me almost two years to get a diagnosis. (which was recently changed from pd to msa) during that early time i also had a hysterectomy for a dropped uterus which i now think was from this disease. i do not yet have vision problems except have worn glasses for years for reading. i expect i'll get vision problems one of these days along with everything else. i hope this helps your question. nancy
