For a long time prior to my Dx of PD, I was on Ambien (supposedly one of the safest sleep aids). My reactions to drugs never seem cosistent and I had nights with blackouts as well as normal good sleep nights. My doctor claimed he had never heard of adverse effects,but I most certainly did! I have friends who had similar problems, si,I guess what I'm saying is that there isn't any medication that is safe for everyone. Regards, Anita
