Kathy, After doing all that I could with our local support group it became clear to me that a much greater emphasis on research was needed. Grassroots advocacy at the national level offered that opportunity. PAN provided the vehicle. I provided a voice. Congress responded. Now NIH must meet the challange. The process works!
