I don't know what this herb is but I have had some luck with the Ginko Biloba - when I can remember to take it!! Like you, my long term memory is great, but the short term is absolutely shot. It is so embarrassing to run into people in the store and they know who I am, my husband and kids and dogs name, I can't remember even why they are familiar to me. What I had for dinner two days ago is always a mystery.
