Dad got three large nasty bedsores when he stayed in the hospital a couple of months ago due to pneumonia. The doctor prescribed Silvadene (Silver sulfadiazine, 50 g) to be applied at home and within a week they were healed. A prescrition is required for Silvadene. Hope this helps.
