Thanks Janet for doing the leg work.
I have just started searching some of these sites.

To suport and make your efforts more useful to this group,
I would like to suggest that some of the doctors or people with science
backgrounds, on our newgroup, could REply to your postings as a way of
explaining
the significance of some of this research. This will make it more
interesting and less theoretical (or just plain understandable for some
without the background).

Also, there may be more info gleaned from reading the full articles...
what gets posted is the free look at the abstract ( summary of scientific
paper).
I will be ordering some of the full articles through the University
of Minnesota, Morris (I work on campus) library once I choose the
most interesting to me/us. I'm not yet familiar with ordering
articles on line and don't know if I want to pay what they ask.
I won't have much time for this untill later this summer.

I know it will take extra effort for some busy people to do this, but,
the research going on has so much potential for progress and a cure...
and to be encouraging for us. We all need to have hope and a dream...

This research needs funding, and this is what our Pennies go to.
Some of the most significant research with stem cells must be done
with private funding until NIH loosens up, or tightens up--
(or gets involved and provides controlling guidelines through what gets funded).

Thanks Janet.
