Dear All, I am Vinay Bansal, and have joined the PARKINSN mailing list today. My mom has recently been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease and that is why my interest in PD. I had until now heard of PD in media only and had no knowledge of the disease. I am now trying to dig out all possible information and determine if a cure exists. My mom is leading a normal life except for the fact that her left hand (only the palm) trembles slightly. She has also started having some memory loss, though it is very occasional and limited to trivial matters. The doctors have at this stage suggested an exercise regimen (yoga exercises) and a medicine (I can supply the name for those who would like to know). I would be grateful if you could share your experiences with me and any possible suggestions that you may have. Bye Vinay
