Jane... You MUST continue to submit a request for SSDI/Medicare to the Social Security Department, no matter how many times they turn you down! "MUST," because it will be presumed by them that since you stopped petitioning them for SSDI, that you are no longer suffering from the cause of your disability - in other words, SSDI will declare you to be CURED of Parkinson's! (incredulous look on gorgeous face) From my own nightmare experiences with SSDI which caused me emotional grief such as I've never ever experienced before in my entire life, I was none the less able to be awarded my SSDI benefits not only once, but TWICE over a period of several years with each attempt.
