The session, "Days of Saints and Virgins," proposed by Max Harris, is to be dedicated to performative activities (including but not necessarily limited to plays) that occured on saints' days in medieval and early modern Europe (or North America, if you know of such events). Papers on plays, processions, or other performative or "ludic" activities are welcomed for consideration. At this point, formal abstracts would be nice but are certainly not necessary. If you are interested in preparing a paper for this session, please contact me. Thanks, Chet Scoville University of Toronto
