Hi Carol,
This is Janice I have PD dx in Oct of 97. I was on the Sinemet drug and
it worked for me. I went to a new Doc and which is a movement disorder sp.
She told me that I was psychosomatic I asked her how that could be when I am
a very up beat person. I have no stress in my life I do not want to be sick.
I have very out going and positive attitude. She told me that I did not
know that for sure. My massage therapist was there and told me later that
the Doc is off the wall for she is able to cause tremors sometimes when she
works on me and she can also cause muscle spasms. Is this true. I have had a
positive attitude towards this PD and have even tried to tell myself that I
did not have it and tried to think it away. It did not work. My husband is
very upset at the Doc said I am not that kind of person. I am very
independent do not like any one helping me do anything. I feel if I wanted
to be sick for attention I would pick something else besides this. Please
let me know what you might think. Janice 51/50/46
