I thik that this is exactly the sort of argument that is meant to be conducted
on this list. Somebody raised a valid query, with a plausible set of
calculations to support it. Somebody else, disagreed, with another set of
calculations. Then a third person gave his opinion. All healthy exchange of
ideas and views.
What I object to is when the argument deteriorates into a character
assassination of the personalities involved, and we lose sight of what the
discussion was really about.
