i'm off and will be brief

bradykinesia can be frustrating and scary to a newbie
is the thinness related to prostate?

in what way?
why is he off zoloft?

i don't like this
your dad may be needlessly uncomfortable and therefore unhappy

ask the neuro how long he would wait if it was him

postponing levodopa is good advice
as long as your dad is still relatively comfortable

but there are other med options pre-levodopa
to address symptoms

not to mention years of potential good 'honeymoon' levodopa effects
before any serious on/off starts

dont be frightned off sinemet
it is the gold standard for pd for good reason

men dont like to go to doctors
they dont like to admit to 'weakness'

i think your dad is struggling physically

he's got pd - he's not slow due to lack of exercise!
meds - he needs meds
