THE CONTROL REVOLUTION

In his new book "The Control Revolution," writer and lawyer Andrew L.
Shapiro argues that the Internet is causing a radical shift in power away
from large institutions and towards individuals.

He wonders whether the elimination of "middlemen" (editors, retail sales
people, and so forth) is always good, and suggests there's a danger that
Netizens could become too isolated from their immediate worlds and their
personal and civic responsibilities.
