Dad just went to the neuro and changed his meds:

Before
Sinemet 25/100 4-5 x day

Now
Sinemet CR 50/200 3 x day once at each meal
Sinemet 25/100 4 x day as necessary

The problem is that dad can't tolerate Sinemet CR. He says he doesn't
feel well and he begins hallucinating. The doctor has tried to put him
on Sinemet CR several times and it's always the same thing. Is there anyone
out there who has experienced the same with Sinemet CR who was placed on
another type of medication because of it and did well? Or is there some
medication out there that he can take when taking Sinemet CR that will
help reduce his hallucinations? It seems that's about the only two
medicines this doctor likes to prescribe. From reading all the e-mail on
this server, there seems to be many more.

He has diabetes and hypertension.

Thanks
