I haven't seen this study but thought I would pass it on.

According to a recent study published by the Journal of American Medical
Association more than an average of 100,000 people are killed each year by
adverse drug reactions to legally prescribed medicines.  This put legally
prescribed medicines among the leading causes of death in the U.S.  This
makes legally prescribed medicines the 3rd biggest killer in the U. S.
