Good Saturday morning, Below is a copy of the letter I am emailing to my congresspersons and am asking that you so the same. If you feel the need to copy and paste and send please feel free to do so. Please insert names where necessary. Alter it any way you like but please send to all your congresspersons this week. (The week before the PAN Forum.) We on the list helped get the Udall Bill passed now let's get it funded. Dear Congressman/Congresswoman Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney (D-New York) is spearheading a campaign to have as many congress persons as possible support her quest for research funds for Parkinson’s Disease . .Research funds are especially important now as researchers feel they are on the verge of a significant breakthrough. Each day a delay in funding not only magnifies indifference of the House to fulfill obligations but further confines over an estimated 1,000,000.afflicted persons to continue to be unnecessarily imprisoned by their bodies with no hope for improvement in their lives. Please do not let us down. We request that Congressman /Congresswoman contact Carolyn Maloney and offer his/her support of her appropriation request.
