Shouldn't the >medicene do more or is that wistful thinkng?... no it's not wishful thinking sinemet isn't called the gold standard of pd meds for nothing in very simple terms in re sinemet and symptoms: if you are suffering freezing and stiffness you are undermedicated if you are suffering dyskinesia you are overmedicated if you are not suffering either you are just right you are a relative newbie to both pd and sinemet you should be in your 'honeymoon' years with sinemet right now with virtually all symptoms controlled by meds in my humble opinion even after 11 years of sinemet and 14 years of symptoms now that i am developing 'on/off' fluctuations and sensitivity to sinemet i can honestly say that i have never felt physically worse with pd than when i was pre-sinemet sinemet was a god-send to me in re my stiffness and rigidity [it makes the stiffness 'melt' into nothing - aahh!] and it should be to you too in my humble opinion howzabout discussing this with her? if you don't feel satisfied it's time for a second opinion janet janet paterson 52 now / 41 dx / 37 onset PO Box 171 Almonte Ontario K0A 1A0 Canada a new voice http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Village/6263/ [log in to unmask]
