Dear Sue: It is not at all guaranteed that any of teh nasty side effects on sinemet will manifest themselve in you. The only way to find out what happens is to take the medication. I have been takign sinemet for 5 years without any side effects worse than worse than a little extra movement of my legs and hands. Maybe this will be the case with you. Then again, maybe not, maybe you will have some of the nasty side effects of sinemet. In this case, your doctor should readjsut your medication, possibly put you on Mirapex on another type of drug.
