Will you let me know if the Botox works for her neck? My mother's most
severe symptoms are painful rigidity in the neck. Although, since her
pallidotomy about 4 weeks ago the rigidity is not as severe.

Botox does cause muscles to relax. It works when properly done in the
muscles
surrounding the eye. Barbara has had the injections three times. They last
about 3-4 months.

She has had one injection in the neck to see if it helps there. Still to be
determined.

I have not heard of it for constipation but since the effect is only for a
few months it might be worth a try.
