Sue - If you have nausea when you begin taking Sinenet ask your PD specialist about
LODOSYN which is manufactured by Merck as is Sinemet. I found that you don't have
to stay on LODOSYN more than a few weeks or less while you build up your Sinemet.
Start the Sinemet with 1/2 tablet of the yellow 25/100 tablet and 1/2 LODOSYN.
After a few days increase the SInemet to one tablet and use one LODOSYN. As you
build up you can begin immediately to cut back of the LODOSYN. Important to
coordinate this under your doctor's guidance. But this what worked for me. I am 82
and am three years with Sinemet. I walk with vigor. My shoulders are back and my
head is high and I can do lunges, squats, run, dance the hora, you name it, I do not
shuffle. People say they can't see anything wrong with me. If the Sinemet causes a
problem I"ll find a way to change with my doctor's help. You can get immediate
relief from the Sinemet. Good luck. Robert Friou
