Hi REnee,

I am a retired psychiatrist 54 years old who has had PD for 10 years.  I have had
the procedure outlined in the PBS piece and have had excellent results.  There are
a number of different surgical procedures that can be done depending on the
symptoms, the health and age of the patient etc.  I suggest you take a look at the
archives which could be quite helpful.  I would be happy to keep in touch with you
either on or off list to help you weigh the various possibilities.
