The only way for us to survive and I mean survive, every charity in the world wants your money, is for us to use Parkinson awareness. That is accomplished by using the Parkinson Alliance and every other method we can, to raise the public's knowledge of this disease. All the other diseases did not get money by maintaining silence or by writing one letter or making one phone call, it has to be a combined effort from all concerned. It means speaking to neighbors, friends, associates, pastors, priests, rabbis, any one who will listen. The new Pennies for Parkinson's cans are eye catching, and very professional, if you have not gotten any yet, call a member of the Leadership Committee, the NPF(toll free number), or Parkinson Alliance number(toll free-888-331-4673). No millionaire, billionaire, or politician is going to find a cure, we as individuals have to do our part, scientists are hopefully going to accomplish this goal, and that's what I like about the Parkinson Alliance, all the money raised goes for research. As I have said so many times, I'm tired of this dam disease, my husband is tired of having this disease(14 years, it has held us captive), all our family is tired of this disease and all our friends are tired of this disease. I feel like I can't remember when Brig didn't have this thing, the whole world revolves around it, aren't you all tired of being captives. We are going to Washington to help that way too, it has to be everyone doing their thing, I'm willing to talk to Clinton if it will make a difference in all our lives, for all who know me, that's a sacrifice.
