Awhile back somehow the rather strange discussion
developed here of which was worse, PD or Diabetes. As a
result quite a number of Listmembers identified themselves as
diabetics. I thought they should be interested in a study just
reported by the American Diabetes Assn., which calls it the 6th largest killer
in the US. The study showed that 95% of diabetics have cardiovascular
disease or at least one of its risk factors; that taking one aspirin a day
dramatcally reduced its incidence [didn't catch the percentage]; but that only
20% of diabetcs take it
