To Mary, Janet, and others pursuing the current thread about levodopa response: I'm confused too, it seems everyone in the science community has his own idea. My (layman's) feeling is that there is a kind of storage function, so not all the dopamine from medication is lost between doses. When he first diagnosed, my neuro advised that besides its immediate effect, Sinemet would also take several weeks for a cumulative one. Whatever the truth may be, it's probably not simple.
