Hans, that is a question I can answer! The Yugo has a very thin floorboard,
and after a little rain leaks through the rustholes in the roof, which are
installed in the car at the factory when it is new (the rust holes, not the
roof, which is often reinstalled by the dealer, if the car arrives on a windy
day!) Anyway when the rain comes in and forms puddles in the floor, within a
few days there are rust holes through the floor. The seats are made of slimy
ratskin, so anything that lands on the seat, vibrates to the holes in the
floor at any speed over about 10 MPH. Problem Solved! The exhaust from the
engine flows through the car and eliminates minor odor problems. Many cars
use pipes for the exhaust, but Yugo tries to save on frills.
