Hi all--

Signed on just to put this on but don't feel up to even hitting a delete
button more than a glancing blow. I survived the surgery; they did find
the tumor o b be c anc erous but it hadn;t sprerad to janny other organ in
the a bdomen; they debulked dll they could see save three pinpoits higeh on
the abdominal wall too near a major arttery to fool with which the chemo can
handle, they say, and I have to believe then, Went in Friday at 2:330, had
surgery at 6, was discharged after staples came out at 7am yesterday (onlly
to have to show up in the office building next door at 1:30, so we went home
and had sne lunch and headed bacj---30 min. eac h way--but itt's the little
things that get to you. We'd called about not being able to make it
because of surgery but a a big fat too bad (the dr. apologized, of
course...

Meanwhihle back at the oncologist's they are still waiting on some path
tests of lynph nodes that either taking forervfer or are lost, So we can't
plan much until they get back. But I'm concentrating on the numbers:80-90%
chance of remission;40% chance of it being permanent, 40%chance of relapse
but then okay.10-20% chnce we're twidddling thumbs. But thtese guys are
thought to be the best here and they CARE about me, too. Just like all of
you who deserved an update, I'm gone again for a while,

Hugs to all--
