Hilary.....Call your state senator/congressman for help...call AARP legal
for advice and there is a website  Seniorlaw.com  ... it has links to other
sites like elderlaw attorneys (all  states), resources and a senior's legal
hotline in  15 statesm, and attorneys,  ... the main site links to social
security/disability/federal and state agencies and contacts, etc....don't
let the first page throw you as it's New York-based ...keep plugging along
the other areas for the contacts.....there is also a consumer agency  (but I
don't have the #) for those with disabilities...  they help in whatever way
you need help....maybe somebody else has the # for you...good luck..Joan
