New Pre-Clinical and Clinical Findings in Alzheimer's and Other

Academia at July 26-27 Conference in Princeton, NJ

NEW YORK, July 7, 1999 /PRNewswire/ -- Significant new findings in
understanding
and treating Alzheimer's and other neurodegenerative diseases will be
featured on July 26-27, 1999 in Princeton, NJ at the 3rd International
``Neurodegeneration in Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease & Acute
Stroke'' conference.

Keynote speaker Dr. Steven Younkin of the Mayo Clinic Jacksonville will
discuss the Role of Elevated Amyloid Beta Protein in Typical Late Onset
Alzheimer's Disease, Dr. Michael Wolfe of Harvard Medical School will
present his new work on B-Amyloid Gamma Secretase & Presenilins: Molecular
Pieces in the AD Puzzle, and Dr. Ronald McKay of NIH will discuss his
exciting new discoveries on Brain Stem Cells in Drug Discovery and the
Treatment of Neurodegenerative Disease.

Late-breaking clinical results of AIT-082 in Alzheimer's patients, developed
