A search of PubMed turned up 45 citations, of which 3 are in English and
right to the point; PMID 3690934, 7073551, and 4020369. The gist is that
CO does induce genuine parkinsonism, as proven by lesions found in the
globus pallidus. It seems unresponsive to levodopa (Sinemet) treatment
but the agonist bromocriptine (Parlodel) with or without the Sinemet
was mentioned as helpful. Cheers,
