Can someone PLEASE help me to understand the difference between sinemet and
mirapex.
Thanks in advance

The idea is to stimulate the dopamine receptors in our brains.
To move normally, human brains need dopamine. In normal brains, a whole
series of steps lead to the production of dopamine. The last step us the
conversion of Levodopa to dopamine. Sinemet is a drug containing Levodopa.

For years, the Parkinson's diseased brain is still able to convert Levodopa
to dopamine. Sinemet is a drug containing Levodopa.

Mirapex is a "dopamine agonist." That is, it does what dopamine does without
the need to become dopamine
