Hi Alison,
Below are the instructions I just got back from WebMD, FYI

Instructions for getting to today's chat:

A.  Setting up an Account

1.  Print this page out for reference.
2.  Go to the following address:  http://my.webmd.com
3.  At the top of the yellow block on the left hand side of the page
there will be a place to join new communities.  It will read, "Join a
community by clicking here."  Click on "here."
4.  At the bottom of the next page, choose Parkinson's Disease from the
pull down  meun and then click on the GO button.
5.  Fill out the boxes and click on accept.  This will take you to the
main page.

B.  Getting into the chat
1.  Go to the following page:
http://my.webmd.com/calendar/prk
2.  Once you are here, choose WebMD Auditorium from the menu next to :
Choose a Room.
3.  Choose Java-lite next to "Choose a method for chatting"
4.  Click the enter button!

C.  Instructions on Chatting
1.  When you enter the chat, you will not see the other people in the
room, you will only see yourself.
2.  To submit a question, type:
 /ask "question"

 For example, /ask What is the best diet for someone with Parkinson's
Disease?

3. If you do not see any text, be patient, and the text will appear.
You may have just entered at a lull in the conversation.
