Paul.... Coincidentally, I'm also a Southpaw - totally left handed - who can't read my own notes any longer. Do I hafta tell ya that this is VERY frustrating?!? After experimenting with writing with my right hand (and I hadda pallidotomy for right side PD symptoms in Oct., 1994, with excellent recovery of motion), I gave THAT up as being even more frustrating then trying to write legibly with my left hand. I finally decided over this past weekend (when I had a lot of reminder notes to write myself and my frustration level absolutely hit the wall!), to check out if a laptop or Palm Pilot type of communications device might do the trick. I want a portable battery driven device that will spew out whatever I type on PAPER. I'd prefer it to have the paper printed immediately after I write something, however, don't believe this is possible (I'd like to be proven differently!). I mentally picture a hand held word processor, or something like that - a VERY plain and simple device which would be easy to carry around with me throughout my day. I'm guessing this type of hand held device wouldn't have a keyboard or if it did, the keyboard would've too small for me to comfortably use. And then there's the cost. While I don't expect something for nuttin', I'd like to not spend more than a 3 or 4 hundred bucks, if possible (dream on, Barbie!) Oh.... and I want this device YESTERDAY! <rueful grin, after a weekend of TRYING to write and not being very successful!
