ATTN: All Young Onset Groups & All Listmembers FROM: Authors of another book in search of a publisher As some of you know or just read in our friend Joan's posting, Linda Herman and Barbara Blake-Krebs have been quietly working on a book too since the New Year. Any profits/royalties will be channeled to research. This book's primary focus is on stories of young onset pwps world-wide, their unique problems besides medical, their spirited response in battling this disease, and the impact of the Internet on their personal and public dealings with PD. Approximately 100 pwps (whom we have or are getting in touch with) will be part of this book. Although we are revising and polishing some of the chapters, we are ready to send a proposal to potential publishers for their consideration. We are aiming to have the final draft including photos by the end of August. We would welcome "official" endorsements (off-list, please) from local or national organizations in support of the need for this type of book to include in our proposal. (Please ask Barbara for snail mail address.) Later, we will share with you a "fun" party that your group could easily put on in conjunction with the book.
