Hi Robin-- PWP stands for Person (or people)With Parkinson's, PD is short
for Parkinson's Disease. and CGs are caregivers. Does that help?
C
Hilary explained the pig-pennies for PD connection. But it seems those
pigs just multiplied! It is all in fun, and the headers should say "NON-PD
" so you can delete if you want to. John Bjork, a very funny man, started
a series of "reports" from the mythical community of Parkinsaw,MI,
inhabited by Parkinsonians, and the pig stuff got involved there. John is
on vacation, but should be back soon, and there will be a new update,I
expect. He also plugs the Pennies for PD campaign. You might get the full
picture, and a lot of chuckles, by visiting John's Parkinsaw
website....watch for his return.
Personally, I contributed the winged pigs, named the "Cincy Fliers" because
they come from Cincinnati,Ohio, and there is actually a statue with winged
pigs, commemorating the city's history as "Porkopolis", a center of hog
markets!
Not all of the listfamily enjoy this thread, but those who do find it
lightens the days and provides an alternative at times for writing about
meds and symptoms.......and we try hard to tolerate each other's tastes.
