I have been appalled and concerned at the sudden increase in direct
advertising, in magazines and on TV about Rx drugs.  "Ask your doctor if
XXXXX is right for you!"  seems to suggest that your dummy of of doctor
wouldn't think of it unless you nudged him!  I have read that doctors are
increasingly pressured by poatients for drugs they see on TV, and spoend a
lot of time explaining why the drug is NOT right for this patient or this
condition.  Glad to see Charlie's comments.
