hi all my, my, my, isn't this a fun day? if any newbies are wondering what in heck is going on here i think this is just a little growing pain that the list has to go through once in awhile in re my postings "you are cordially invited..." as well as any messages about list-mom-owner issues: my words spoke and speak for both barb patterson and me in re carole hercun's receipt and public posting of a private message to her from an ex-list member david boots "trying to understand" a little background info needs to be aired to clear up a lot of apparent mis-apprehensions about david and his history here david was a list-member for a couple of years he did not leave the list voluntarily he was removed from the list due to his habit of sending similar private messages to other list-members some of whom were so upset by these invasions that they left the list and have not returned i think it is sad that david still seems to feel the need to send unwelcome and uninvited email messages to listmembers i think it is tragic that his skill with words has been used to such ends he has written to barb patterson offering to 'take over' running the list for her a couple of times when a list kefuffle has cropped up in the past so i have to wonder at his motive for the recent 'attacks' [because that's what they are] and i have to wonder at his motive for 'watching' the list at john cottingham's website let's not let the pig/humour discussion get in the way of what's really happened here the pigs represent laughter, joy, silliness, fantasy, and above all, hope [pennies for parkinson's / pig-cell implants / pd + fun ] and by attacking and manipulating that issue from afar david has displayed his wordskill once more might i suggest removing the nails from the coffins? if any member of this list attacks, harasses or 'flames' another member of this list please be assured that the attacker will be summarily booted off the list and the internet service provider serving the offending list member will be informed of their offensive behaviour if any member of this list receives unwelcome and offensive email from any other member of this list please bring it to the list's attention, as carole hercun did; such attacks are the acts of a coward; dealing with them in secret only works to a coward's advantage; any attackee will have our staunch support both publicly and privately in accordance with the above i have written to sonic.net expressing our concern now, can we get back to sharing and crying and laughing and complaining about real issues? with love janet PIEnet list-mom janet paterson 52 now / 41 dx / 37 onset snail-mail: PO Box 171 Almonte Ontario K0A 1A0 Canada website: a new voice <http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Village/6263/> e-mail: <[log in to unmask]>
