NO, NO, NO !! YOu missed my original announcement of the sad news. Porky's death was in a semse his unltimate sacrifice for PENNIES FOR PARKINSONS.He was very uncomfortable the last few days of his life, with his little pink body badly impacted with paper copper and nickel, and his untimely demise resulted in a large donation (as yet untallied) to the fund of his choice (PfP). And his dyiing words were (i may not remember t hem esactly,) "please, no more arguing on the list. I came to collect money for research. I have done my thing, Peace brothers" Anmd in the sad sincerity of the moment ( and i mean no disrepect), may I add yitgadal v'yitkadash shma rabah ...hu ya'aseh shalom aleinu..... (From the Hebrew mourners prayer) May His name be glorified and sanctifieed... ....may He cause peace to be on us all Amen hilary blue Bonnie Rowley wrote: > > Killing off Porky is SAD as it's like there's no hope for a cure for PD. > > In a message dated 8/5/1999 11:58:32 PM Eastern Daylight Time, > [log in to unmask] writes: > > > At 01:53 PM 8/5/99 -0400, you wrote: > > >Dear Porky--- > > > Requiescat in Pace > > > > > > :-( > > > > > > > > > > > >>All the birds and the beasts were a crying and a squawky > > >>when they heard of the death of poor old porky > > > > > > > > > > > > Camilla Flintermann, <[log in to unmask] > > edu> > > > > > > http://www.newcountry.nu/pd/members/camilla/one.htm My Home Page > > > > > > " Knowing when to insist, and when to let be, > > > is,perhaps, a lifetime learning experience ." > > > --Mary McCurry > > > > > > Porky, Porky, we love you--a smile is good for us all..T.L.Seese > > > >
