However even movement disorder specialists may miss the diagnosis of
Parkinson's disease, especially in the early phase.  Typical features of
Parkinson's disease may over time change with new, not to PD related
characteristics.  In addition, only post-mortem studies will confirm the
diagnosis of PD.  On the other hand, a dramatic response to levodopa
(Sinemet, Madopar, Prolopa) may make the diagnosis of PD very likely.
