Jeanette,
It seems to me your body is crying out for sinemet. Now remeber I am not a
doctor, and am only speaking from my own personal experience. But I have been
taking sinemet from the beginning - and that is 17. years now. At times I
have taken one or another agonist, with varyinig results. Right now I am
tkaing mirapex and amantadine with the sinemet. I am probably taking a lot
more medication than you need, but my state of functioning at the moment
sounds pretty much like yours. I dont drive, and i have to choose like you
between shopping and laundry - but i still do most of the cookong - if
somebody else washes the dishes. But I've got 15 years start on you . WHat i'm
saying is, i have been taking sinemet all these years and it has only been
good for me. Over the last couple of years i have develooped dyskinesia - but
the amantadine sees to that. . So based on my own personal experience, I think
the way to go is to staort wth sinemet, and to add in other things as needed,
and to remove them when they become ineffective.
BTW, I've been taking sinemet for 17 yrs and i'm still only 50 and looking
forward to a long future, both before and after the cure!
