I believe you have answered my question, whether intentionally or accidentally.
The bloodtests required for the users of tolcapone (Tasmar) are to ascertain if skeletal
muscle tissue is being destroyed, in which case this would show up as
myoglobulin in the blood.
Have I got this correct?
