John,

It's a romantic picture you paint, when you say your observations have shown
that people with Parkinson's Disease are "kind, loving, caring, overly
grateful for small gestures and confine all their feelings of animosity to
the disease itself." I don't know how much experience  you personally have
had around someone with Parkinson's Disease but it's different than mine. My
wife, who has had Parkinson's Disease for nine years, suffers
hallucinations, which at this point have not had their root cause
determined, but she is not, as you describe kind, loving, caring, overly
grateful for small gestures and confining of her feelings to the disease
itself when she is in this state which is most of the time. Several other
care givers I have spoken with have told me of similar experiences with
their Parkinson's patient. From postings I have read on this list, it
appears many people with Parkinsons's are as you describe, and that is
wonderful, but, unfortunately not all are.
