Mary,

Zoloft is a good antidepressant for PWP.  There are some warnings about mixing
Zoloft and eldepryl (selegiline) but they don't contraindicate it but rather
caution about its use.  I have found it to be a safe and effective drug for
many but not all PWP.  The ones to watch out for primarily are the MAOI
antidepressants which can affect  blood pressure and should only be used with
great caution.  The tricyclics such as amitriptyline,  imipramine etc.  are
good but tend to be harder to use without side effects and have largely been
supplanted by the   SSRI's like Zoloft,

Good luck with whatever your doctor sees fit to prescribe.
